STIR-FRY CURRIED OCTOPUS ©





 Cephalopods - " head-footed " seafood cuisine such as squid, cuttlefish or octopus can be prepared in a variety of styles. A quick stir-fry style with East Indian Oriental spices such as curry powder is a South-East Asian cuisine, particularly in Malaysian Chinese cuisine.

In this preparation, packaged Babas curry powder are the main ingredient.
A quick stir-fried Octopus in curry powder and fish sauce with aromatic dried red chilli gives a spicy, savory flavor to the octopus flesh, yet maintaining its luscious and succulent texture.



Ingredients and Preparation for 4


Prepare slices of ginger, onions, lemon grass, chopped garlics, and dried red chilli.
 Prepare 1 lb sliced octopus.














Cooking Steps

Begin, by saute ginger, garlic, onions, lemon grass and chilli in 5 tbs cooking oil in a skillet in medium heat until aromatic scent steams up.
 Add octopus. Combine to ingredients and stir.












For flavor:- Add 2 tbs fish sauce, 1/2 tbs chicken stock brand, 1 tbs curry powder, 1/2 tsp pepper. 1/2 tsp black pepper. Combine seasoning into ingredients and quick stir-fry for another 5 minutes in medium heat. Note: Avoid cooking for longer than 5 minutes as overcooking can cause the octopus to get rubbery.






Ready to serve.
